First-ever 6 Hands Event Sets to Kick Start 2019
We are very excited to kick start 2019 with the restaurant’s first-ever “Six Hands” dining experience. Chef Hideaki Sato is joining forces with Chef Yoji Tokuyoshi of 1-Michelin-starred Ristorante Tokuyoshi in Milan and Chef Taku Sekine of the popular Dersou in Paris to present a creatively curated 9-course degustation dinner under the theme of “Cuisine without Boundary” exclusively from February 21 – 26, 2019.
Sharing similar background, the three renowned Japanese chefs pursue their culinary adventure in overseas countries which help build up their very own culinary style with exposure to modern technique around the world while still focus on Asian ingredients and flavour. The former sous chef of the renowned Osteria Francescana, Chef Tokuyoshi of Ristorante Tokuyoshi names his cuisine as the “Contaminated Italian Cuisine”, which creatively “contaminates” Italian classic with his Japanese heritage, while the alumni of Alain Ducasse’s restaurants, Chef Sekine’s “Asian-inflected French cuisine” combined ingredients and culinary style from across the world; very much similar to Chef Sato’s interpretation of modern French cuisine with Japanese and Asian ingredients along his experience.
